Proposal

with the advisor and rent the classroom individually to proceed.)
2. PROPOSAL APPLICATION DOCUMENTS
When: Sep 12th (Tue) - Sep 29th (Fri) By 5:00
PM
Where: At the second floor, Hotel Building at Global
Hospitality & Tourism Department assistant desk or folder
- REQUIRED DOCUMENTS:
1)Qulitification exam for Degree Application form
Check it in the Degree qualification exam (proposal)
column.
2)Application Form (2023-2
Proposal Defense Form - sheet 1): Fill all personal information,
thesis information, and get your advisor's signature. (You don't need to get
the head of a department's signature)
*[Remember to erase all my red English translation in the form before
filling]
3) Result Form (2023-2
Proposal Defense Forms - sheet 2): Just fill personal
information and thesis information (Leave all other space blanks) and give
one to each of the committee members.
4) Print your current transcript
(KHU info21-> course -> grades -> view all
courses grade -> print)
5) Committee Application Form
Master: 3 professors including your advisor (4 if you
have co-advisors)
Ph. D: 5 professors including your advisor (6 if you have
co-advisors), must include one professor from another department and one professor from the other university
[Note: Work with your advisor about this, he/she will
advise you who to choose]
For Ph.D. students: Please check the current status of
your paper's publishment.
In case of a Ph.D. program's graduation requirement,
students should publish with the academic records in the Korea
Research Foundation and those of SCI (E) or higher levels of articles.
However, a person who submits a certificate of
publication due shall submit a separate copy of the corresponding
dissertation within 30 days of completion of the publication and may cancel his
or her degree if he/she does not submit the separate document.

2. Plagiarism test report: When
submitting a proposal paper on Sep 29th, you must
include one copy of the report of plagiarism.
Please check the pdf manual file for
instructions on printing a report on plagiarism inspection
(Turnitin Manual)

it out

*Proposal papers Format
- Content: Cover page (3 cover pages as guided in
the sample, Table of content, list of figure, list of table, abstract,
introduction, literature review, conclusion, reference, questionnaire)
[Please work closely with your advisor about the content
of proposal paper]
**NOTE** don’t write your
name and your advisor's name in the 3 cover pages or in
any other pages of the proposal papers,
When you submit the proposal papers you need to
submit the test result as well (Make sure the whole proposal title
can be seen).
**Guidelines
for PROPOSAL
1) Graduate students who want to submit a thesis
must do the proposal for the semester.
2) Those who have passed the proposal of a
paper must receive the results from the advisor and the dean of the
department and submit the result report.
3) If the thesis is not submitted after passing
the proposal, the proposal result will be valid until the
fifth semester, including the semester when the proposal was passed.
4) In order to submit a final thesis, all required
credits must be taken or scheduled to be completed within three
credits.
**Once you submit the proposal papers, you cannot re-submit
them. **
**Please make sure to submit the proposal documents on time, as you
cannot submit them after the deadline**
